Thanks..I was just looking for one! 🙂

Combined 3V & 5V on this is 180W - higher than many models that cost more than 2X this price. Great find!

Edit: The PP303X I recently put in my cousin's build was rated at the above specs (printed on the PSU label) so that's where I got the info 🙂

It says 145 watts on my antec that I got around a year and a half ago. It's good for a Duron up to 950.

Specifications: Maximum Power: 300Watts. Transient Response: +5V,+12V outputs return to within 5% in less than 1ms for 20% load change. P. G. Signal: 100-500ms. Over Voltage Protection: Recycle AC to reset +5V trip point < +6.25V, +3.3V trip point < +4.10V, +12V trip point < +15.6. Overload Protection: Latching Protection, +5V @ < 48A, 3.3V @ < 60A, +12V @ < 20A. Leakage Current: <1mA @ 240VAC. 7 x IDE connectors, 2 x Floppy connectors. L5.9" x W5.5" x H3.4".

Does that help?

I am currently using one of these on my Shuttle AK31A with a T-Bird 1000 at 1400 Mhz - Stable as can be.

<< Any of us here NOT have 50 power cords laying around? >>

Not sure about 50, but I can for sure find about 20 in my boxes of used stuff.

Anyone know if these are relatively quiet? I could use a quieter power supply.

I know it says it will shut off the fan at below 59 degrees, but does it slow the fan so that it ends up being quieter?

Thanks,

Orie

i've had one...and it was fairly quiet...about the level as my current highpower 300watt...my cpu fan definitely overpowers the ps.

i have this PS, it came stock with my Antec case.. all i can say is, your CPU fan will probably drown it out anyway. You shouldn't have to worry about it making any noise.\

coolios gonna order me one when i get off from work. too obvious right now if i take out my credit card right now.

Thanks popeye44, gonna order one or two. Looks like a solid power supply. Not to crap, but I am curious to see what the peak output actually is for the combined +3.3V & +5V. Hopefully the anwser is that Antec has been improving the unit.

180W stated above,
160W according to the Tech Zone Review (10/4/2000) linked up by Directron, or
150W in the AnandTech article (1/17/2000)

*with due repect to the Golden-ness of yodayoda* (Note #4: "A user manual and a power cord are included." Not that any us were gonna order one anyway.
