black widow is euphemism for a dangerous woman because the black widow female kills and devours males after mating. It's a fusion of calling someone dangerous and alluding to some sort of sex appeal. Apparently, in eating circles, it is dangerous to compete with her tho I imagine there is considerably less mating than is implied. IMO, mating in an eating contest would probably be unsanitary.
 
In Philly she won our "Wing Bowl" 2 years ago, and lost by one wing in overtime to the 5-time champion before that.. truely amazing for her size.
