No, the baby is like blade except his blood is the cure for zombieism; they then find-out that all those zombies they killed... most are sentient, a different species capable of love, fear, hope and only the rabid few are monsters.

At this point Will Smith and Vincent Price fall in love with the same zombie woman, who turns out to be Sara Tancredi! that's right she was a zombie the whole time she was with Rick and Shane; which is why she's been trying so hard to help the zombies.

Meh.

You would think that ONE of them would be like the guy they had on that more "realistic" survival show that lasted all of one season.

You know, the one where guys go into a ruined machine shop and make solar heated water and reconstruct a gas engine with nothing but chewing gum and toothpicks?

The Colony.

I enjoyed that show (Season 1 in L.A.).

There was actually a second season (that I missed entirely but I heard is was terrible).

It was something a bit too hard to "realistically" put together.

You would think you would have at least one person that could do a bit of "Junkyard Wars".

Yeah the 2nd one was pretty laughable, seemed way too scripted with the ex-military sniper/survivalist coming around halfway through the season to help them out, right when they desperately needed help lol.

I seen a commercial recently for this show on one of the other "science" channels but it appears they're just re-airing the first season lol.

They need to kill her off. Carl and Lori both are just insufferable.

I actually thought that after Dale died because of Carl's wanderings, that things would change. Neither Carl nor Lori learned their lesson. They have both already completely forgotten about what happened to Dale.

Well I managed to stay out this thread until I'd caught up!

Last 3 episodes of the season have easily redeemed s2 for me. I can't believe people are still whinging about it not being good enough still!

Dales death - sad but brought the group closer (albeit for 5 minutes)

Liking the Assasins Creed ninja women (mIchonne?)

I think she will guide Andrea back to the group and join, but part of me thinks Andrea would kick off for being left behind?

I like the way the show has gotten into the dark side of zombie Apocolypse - the threat isn't just the hoards, it's OTHER humans in the fight for survival.

Carl is a massive twat. He needs to be disciplined with a shovel to the face. Why is the show making him so annoying?

Did anyone pick up on this -

They run out of gas and stop in the middle of nowhere. hoard threat imminent, no supplies, low ammo, several group members lost, remaining group fighting (mainly women stirring sh!t), people are tired, dirty, unwashed, hungry. Rick scouts an area to stop, first words out of Carl's mouth "i'm COLD"

Carl must go.

Only thing I thought was - to be honest you would fit everyone in 1 car if you had to!?

Glad Rick has asserted dominance too. Hershal and Daryl onboard, if I was Rick I'd be tempted to leave the others lol

Also - here's a mind trick for you. Why do you think we cremate or bury our dead deep in the ground in real life after they die...

it would have been better, but its easy to come up with that plan after the fact than in the middle of an unexpected invasion where half your concern leading up to the fight was the fact that a few of your best fighters were still missing and they had been discussing looking for them. Also keep in mind that even that plan is flawed, as you'd eventually clog up those bottlenecks with bodies, and then you're back to square one of risk of zombies tearing the house apart and overloading your defensive routes.

and of course once the barn went up in flames it became obvious that Rick/Shane/Carl had started the fire and thus helped to prompt action to go and help them

that being said, they were still living a pretty naive existence in a zombie apocalypse world, they thought they were safe and thus content to leave things be, when they really should have been fortifying their position, as well as have planned bug-out routes and destinations when it turned out to be a lot of luck that everyone but Andrea (basically everyone with a vehicle) was able to find their way back to their highway camp without it being obvious that it was a clear plan for them to do so.

really was hoping this show was going to be more along those lines, where we see the characters learning how to live in a zombie world and adapting, instead of all this drama BS, which can be good, but I think has been overdone.

My gf and I were shouting this at the screen. "HOW CAN YOU LIVE IN A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE WORLD AND NOT HAVE A RALLY POINT?!?"

That asshole Shane is gone, so it should only go up from here.

Him and Daryl were the only two characters I liked. Everyone else turned into a whiny sissy bitchbag in season 2. I think the whole Shane thing was handled awfully by the writers. "oh no shane's obsessed with the baby!!!" seriously? That's the best they could do. I haven't read the comics but I'm hoping it didn't happen like that in them. Everyone bitched about him, but he was keeping people alive, and actually acting like he had a functioning testicle.

(my first comments in this thread)

~I dig Daryl a lot, but was not sad one bit to see Shane go. He was just too damn unstable and a complete douchebag to anyone that wasn't Lori. I know I would certainly not feel "safe" with him in my camp, despite him thinking he was sole reason that they were safe to begin with. They wrote his character with just too much of a loose screw up there. If they toned down the psychopath part of him he might have been great to me.

~Shocking, another TERRIBLE kid character almost ruins movie/show. Fuck kids.

~Also, Sophia's mom is so damn annoyingly frail. I know that the show is just trying to depict that you're likely to have someone like that in a group, but damn. I almost mute it whenever she talks.
