It's not the PlayTable I don't think, they said it would be a consumer device along the lines of the Xbox 360 and the Zune.

Cool! I think it's pretty neat.

Pretty impressive really. It seems like such simple concepts, and may not seem that revolutionary at first.. But we have nothing like this right now.

Wow, that video got me pretty excited. I can see a lot of possibilities with that technology, especially if they could bring the price down to where you can have it in your home. The part with the camera transferring photos to the Surface unit was pretty amazing! Looks like it would be super-useful for artists...

Price will be a major obstacle for the new machine to overcome if it is to catch on with mainstream consumers. Thompson declined to disclose terms of the enterprise agreements under which Microsoft is selling the machines, which include related software and services.
