Im sure there are plenty of ppl that want to give you advice and want to see a follow Anandtech community member succeed.
But a big problem with posting and asking for advice is that you may have a biased view upon things and like luvly and some others may think, you could be reading too much into, which very well could be the case. But hey you gave it a shot. I don't know if you said she was freaked out when you asked her out for coffee? If she wasnt it wouldnt hurt at least imho to continue this casual acquaintance with her. You got along with her well, asked her out on a date and found out she had a bf no big deal, if you're friends with her why not continue to be friends? My point is you can never have too many friends.
