sm3 score 2218
cpu 962

2.5ghz A64

i knew this would happen.... NV to ATI transition was never gonna go smooth, specially without a reformat

I'd say use the Omega drivers. No need for .net unless you're installing CCC, which I wouldn't do unless you have crossfire.

I've got the WarCat 6.6 drivers and the WarCat 6.6 Chuck patch. Work great.

got the warcats in. so far so good

card is actually very quiet, no louder than my previous 2 7800GT's in SLI at idle. yet to stress it though

jus ran the overdrive thing and its reported back with 689Mhz on the core and nearly 800 on the mem! pretty good im guessing. jus gonna notch it down to XTX speeds and leave it be

This is what I use for my card:

Cat 6.6 dipsplay drivers only
ATI Tray Tools
ATI Tool Beta 14
Rivatuner

If you don't plan on ocing past what Overdrive will allow you than you can scratch ATI Tool and ATI Tool. Rivatuner is nice because it will graph temps, clocks, and volts over a period of time (and allow you to drag your mouse along the curve to see exact mins/maxs). ATI Tool also graphs data but it doesn't give you precise figures except for the present snapshot. ATI Tray Tools also has a built-in monitoring system that will graph data over time. It even gives you the min and max figures without having to drag the mouse over the curve. You can get data like Max Video Memory Usage, which is interesting.

Never tried the Warcat drivers but I had good luck with the Extreme-G drivers when I had my SLI'd 7800GTs.

Your 3DMark06 score looks a bit low but that's probably attributable to your single-core proc. '06 gives a much higher score with a dual-core.

why am i only scoring 4500 when i should really be around 5500-6000? i know 3D Mark isnt the be all and end all. but its a useful tool to gauge initial performance, see if everything is right.

Did you use Driver cleaner? when uninstalling the NV stuff. Really a format shouldn't be needed but if it doesn't work right... you might need to.

your little 3000+ (2.5ghz) might be a keeping your score down, but I dont know by how much.

Well you got a single core, simple... with dual core you would have gotten 2000 or close in cpu, bumping your 4500 to 5500 so there

alright, XTX speeds, my 3200+ at 2.5 and i jus updated the NF4 drivers to the latest 6.86. thats fixed a previous prob i had, and now im scoring about 5300 which will do for now. its about right i think.

a dual core CPU is on the horizon, and a full reformat is gonna happen anyway as this machine is going to become my brothers in 2 months. so i wanna give him a fresh machine to play with. ill be picking up a laptop as a replacement

The Dual Core CPU will give another few hundred in points. It still seems a bit low though. Did you run the driver.cab and SP2.cab cleaner on driver cleaner?

Pretty much you'd want to uninstall the Nforce drivers reboot boot safe mode and then choose all the Nvidia related entry's for Driver Cleaner should be 4 or 5. Pretty sure most of it is in Nforce Chipset drivers though.

I'd go for the XG Warcat drivers. I love there Nvidia XG drivers, and also use the Warcats in my older ATI rig. Thought that the Warcats had better IQ than the Omega drivers (only by a little bit).

Just curious, why do you use Rivatuner?
