EDIT: Checkout my new Fossil Watch

I bought my wife one. Works good and can take a beating. Battery died after 2 years though. Other than that it's been a good watch. I think I paid ~$50 for it.

I've had 4 Fossil watches over the past 5 years. They're great watches, super sturdy, but it's kind of cliche (I think that's the word I'm looking for) - everyone and their mother has one, and they're popular with teenagers. Plus their designs are just getting tacky/old now. You can't get a Tag Heur/DKNY/Citizen/Seiko for the price the Fossil costs though.

Mine is a mid size blue with a blue face. I've had it like 3 years and its still working great. $65 directly from fossil.

They work alright I guess. I have one from 1997 that I wear sometimes, cost about $100 back then. For daily use I like my Pulsar better.

I am bidding on a Fossil Blue Multifunction watch. It has a pewter gun metal Luminescent face W/Black and red Dials. I hope I get it 😀

I have a Big Tic watch, the one with the analog hands but a digital back for the seconds, it cost me less than $50 (I don't remember exactly), and the only problem is that it uses two batteries instead of one, creating much expense.

Kind of like what I have, but they dont seem to have the exact watch anymore. I got it about 6-7 years ago maybe. Battery died once and held up pretty well until recently. Now, the pins in the band just keep breaking. It retailed for $85 when I got it.

The analog battery will last you at least 3-4 years. The digital one, however, runs out fast. I replaced mine in my Chinese Big Tic after a little over a year. ($10 battery at the Fossil store)

Pretty much all watch places charge $10 for a battery. The back plate is impossible to get off without a special tool (for me anyway)

that really doesnt give the hands justice.

and besides, on mine, the back is not reflective, and the hands are. the reason they are white, is because they have a light gathering "glow in the dark" property.

i like the fact the face is very simple. multiple dials on the face tend to detract from the watches aesthetic appeal because it makes it look gaudy. the hands really are very easy to see on any other varuabt of the watch. try the black face... looks decent. i dont know why they got rid of the gray face, it's the best looking one.
