o'k deal anymore I just do not get anything smaller than 256MB, which you can get anywhere from $40-60.

you have peaked my interest care to send me some of the links to the 40 dollar shipped 256mb secure digital cards?

wouldnt mind picking one up for that price

i don't think there are any deals for good cards for $40. unless it's sandisk. buy.com has lexar 256 for $67- $10 rebate = $57 and there's a free shipping coupon out. amazon has a viking for $75-$15 = $60. these are both 256 SD cards

256's are usually about $48 after rebate, but they had that June deal to do a wack PM, getting a Lexar 256 to around $20.

bananapc usually has good prices on SD cards, but not as good as sale prices.

I got my Memorex SD 128 for $30 after rebate during Compusa's anniversary. But I definitely hope for a chance to do a wack PM to get a 256 for $20ish again, though that's quite rare.

I think 512's the biggest card they have atm, but those are easily hundreds of bucks (maybe $200 or more).

The deal in June worked like this: hope we get one soon again ;)

Staples has it for $90, PM to Amazon's after rebate price of $51 (the rebate $20 said valid at participating vendors only). That made it just under $50. Toss in a few buck filler, get the free shipping, and use coupon code for 10 off 50. After receiving product, fill in $20 rebate anyway (people called and verified Staples to be a "participating vendor."

Too bad the above deal was long expired, and too bad Staples and Amazon were always out of stock. But basically, that's what it took to get a big SD for cheap.
