Speaking of reburb MBs and USB ports, I have an Iwill KK266R refurb from Newegg that had a slight USB problem. I received it, checked it out pretty good, and there did not appear to be any problems. The 30 days passed, then when I tried to plug a SECOND usb device into the board, all hell broke loose. Stuck at that point and had to buy a PCI USB card to fix the problem. The deal wasn't so great after all.

If it makes anyone feel better, I got one that I thought was "dead" from Newegg. Filled out the RMA form. Got it ready to go but was too lazy to send it in. RMA expires.

5 months later, I pull it out of my trunk, take a look at it, take a look at my brother's busted up computer, and say what the heck.

Plug all the stuff into it... works like a charm! No clue why.

CAK - have you tested them yet, are they ok? New ones are only $55 so I don't know whether it's better to wait for a refurb or not.
