This is the response Igot from ECS when I asked them about the memory problem with my 755-A and asked for a memory recommendation:
Dear Sir/Madam:

This board will support up to 2G when you using DDR 1600,2100 and 2700 memory.
You will get DDR 400 memory speed when you using one DIMM for PC3200 memory.
System will running at DD333 memory speed when you have two DDR400 in the system.
