I did a bit more reading and I don't think that this board is worth buying.
If you agree or disagree though, let me know.

The computer crashed while I was flashing the BIOS.
It wasn't finished writing the new BIOS so now...no POST...nothing...dead.

The MSI Neo-F board AT recommended is cheaper yet seems not to be well reviewed on newegg. I want to find a rock stable board at stock speeds that I can use a 1GB 533 stick with and won't give me problems.

Our board is not having any of the issues experienced by the users on NewEgg, the first bios like all P965 boards was a little finicky with 2.0V+ memory but since the last update those issues have gone away. The MSI overclocks better than the Foxconn and ECS P965 budget boards, all in all they are about the same regarding perfromance.

the neo-f has a kind of crappier layout. and the ecs one is a bit cheaper since there is a rebate of $20. i believe they start off at the same price. its probably very cheap on ebay as well since its in all the frys bundles. the ecs has the slight advantage since the power connector isnt in the middle of the board like hte msi, and it has 2 pci-e x16 slots .

well yes i know that, but its physically x16. there isnt a physical x16 on the other boards.

evne the gigabyte ds3 is just a physical x16 that is an x4. but if nvidia ever licenses out sli, it would be important.
