I opened up my Antec Lanboy case and pulled the plug on the Led switch by accident. Where does it go on the ECS motherboard? I cant find my manual and tried a couple of spots where its labled IRA1 i believe but that didnt work. Anyone with a manual know where I can plug my front case light ?

Didn't see this thread (too many, LOL) but got your PM. I'll post here in case it helps others. No, I no longer have my manual. However, IIRC most/all ECS boards have the same or similar pinout. If your other wires are still connected for the HDD LED, power and reset switches, then the power LED should go there. It is a 2x5 pin block at the bottom corner of the board, with one pin missing. Something like this:

1 3 5 7 9
* * * * *
* * * *
2 4 6 8

Pin 1 is LED+, pin 3 is LED-. Pin 2 is HDD-LED+, pin 4 is HDD-LED-. Pins 5&7 are power switch and pins 6&8 are reset switch.

Oh yeah, check ecsusa.com to see if they have a PDF manual.

Thanks, all those pins are full except the blank one. Go figure, ECS just launched a new website, so that is probably why I couldn't find it last night. I was playing around in my computer last night (with scissors lol) so maybe I cut something. I will have to look carefully. Perhaps the loose led wire has always been unconnected and the light in front of the case went out for another reason.

I will check when I get home but i think the problem is the case. The front fan (with light) needs to be conected to power supply. Perhaps I unplugged that when I was unplugging the power to my old 9800xt. .... I hope.

If you're talking about the front panel header (SW1) the info is as follows:

Pin 1 HD LED +
Pin 3 HD LED -

Pin 2 FP PWR/SLP MSG LED+
Pin 4 FP PWR/SLP MSG LED-

for completeness:
Pin 5 Reset Switch -
Pin 7 Reset Switch +
Pin 6 Power Switch +
Pin 8 Power Switch -

Hope this helps. Now what is up with the 4pin auxilliary power connection? My FSG 450W Power supply has a different orientation than the ECS board's 4 pin connector. I thought that dual 12v meant that the 4 pin connector carried 12v 12v and two grounds. I just upgraded the power supply and when I tried to connect the 4 pin auxilliary at all, it shorts and the power supply shuts down. I can run without the 4 pin connected, but what am I losing?

Thanks if you reply to my question.
