got this motherboard everything is set to factory default settings when I power it up no video response then after couple of seconds the motherboard shuts off I have tried differnet amd cpu's if some one could help me figure out what is going on that would be great

Thanks

did you check to make sure the jumper isnt set for "clear cmos"? (it needs to be set for "normal")
ive bought a couple ecs boards that came that way new

what are your system specs? cpu? powersupply? what brand/type of ram?

double check the motherboard install and make sure none of the little risers are shorting out against the bottom of the board (meaning risers in a place where there is no hole in the board for the mounting screw)

also check the power supply and make sure its set for 115v not 230v

This typically happens when the mainboard doesn't detect a spinning CPU fan. It's a safety
shutdown to avoid CPU burnout.
Did you plug it in at the "CPU FAN" connector? Also, there are some fans out there that
don't have the output signal quite right, these go undetected.
