obviously targeted at budget buyers who aren't looking for a high-end system
Um I hate to tell you this but the K7S5A is leagues from high end. Still a good stable board, matter of fact I run it in my main rig now.. Think it's gotta be like the 3rd or 4th I've run in my home pc's.
This might be a good mother in law rig. I think I'd go with an nforce board and buy the cpu separate for and additional 40.00
