Ok guys, found out what the problem was. The HS/F was the problem. I was using an Artic Cooler HS/F because it was quiet, but put it on without the artic silver. So it would overheat. Once I put the artic silver on, it worked fine. Good god... Now I gotta cancel that crucial I ordered. I appreciate the help guys. Thanks again. :(

Ugh, seriously. The best part I love about the support community for this mobo is they tell you to buy super high quality everything you use with this board. Which actually makes this board more expensive in the end than a board that didn't cost so much up front.

Every k7s5a i've seen runs perfectly with the cheapest DDR ram you can buy around here.

it's the "hardware enthusiast" community telling you to buy more expensive stuff, not the "k7s5a" community. It's the same with anything on Anandtech & similar sites - most vocal members prefer to spend extra money.

RE:"I know some of these boards work at 133 with SDRAM cause I've seen it with my own freaking eyes. It sucks to have 1.25 gigs of high quality, name brand PC133 sdram sitting around doing jack."

Yes they do and I know how you feel about all that RAM.
Most of the time I hear about an ECS K7S5A being bad it's either the user and some weird configuration or some other component besides the mobo.
