How well will these two parts work together. I'm building a system for a friend, and am going to use the ECS board because he won't be doing any overclocking, and i have this board and it works fine. But im wondering what your experiences are with the ECS board with a PNY GeForce4 Ti 4600? Do they work well together? Any issues? thanks in advance.

Power supply.

The K7S5A requires a good one and the 4600 sucks a lot of juice on top of that.

A quality 350W IMHO.

Also remember how big the 4600 is, if I recall right one of the ide ports might be blocked by the big behomoth.
Depending on what version board you have.

well as long as i don't have too many serious problems. Its a PNY GeForce 4 Ti 4600, i'm going to try the 350watt PS that comes w/ the case and if it doesn't work we'll go better.

I think i had some probs with fitting RAM while having my VC installed, not a lot of space, (this seems to be a common problem with motherboard layout nowadays) and i only have a gf2 mx 400, if the ti4600 is substantially bigger, you could have probs when fitting ram, but can just take VC out and put it back, just make sure it seated properly when you put it back in :)

on this motherboard the RAM slots arent close to the AGP slot, the IDE ports are, well the floppy IDE port is, but the others are lower. So i think it will fit fine.
