ECS K7S5A temp question

look like I lost my messages about my floppy drive with ECS K7S5A is gone but I try to fix it myself with any luck.

Anyway, I am curious about temp...Is it normal CPU temp 39C/109F and System Temp 31C/87F?

Your input will be nice...Thank you

mine is AMD Duron 700MHz (Spitfire)
no overclock

The temps are a little high. Especially the system temp. Your case needs better ventilation. You can also try CPUidle to lower the temps. My old 700 would stay around 32-34C with a good heatsink/fan. My 1gig duron stays at 39-40C with the same heatsink/fan and with cpuidle running I hit 32-34C. My system temps are 23-26C with a good case fan.

I bought new case it comes with 3 fans yesterday just before a major car accident....
where do I find cpuidle?

Hi there,

why not using CPUIdle Pro for W2K/XP? Runs great, at least on my machine.
BTW, my system runs at 45°C CPU / 28°C Chip = 1200 Athlon-C running SETI.
