ECS K7s5a Pro and 1800XP: Can I run a pc3200 chip with other pc2700

I builit a 1800xp with the ECS K7S5a board over the summer with one of fry's specials.
Its currently running a 512mb and a 256mb pc2700.

I just got a 400SC and upgraded it with a kingston 1gb pack

Now I have the left over 128 DDR 400 CL 3 PC3200U that came with the 400SC

Can i pop in this chip and will it run backward compatible with my 2700 chips?

Possibly someone has an answer to another problem I have. I just got in on the DELL SC400 deal. Added a 120GB WD HD, which is recognized in the device manager, but not in windows explorer. Is this because I haven't NTFS partitioned it? Can i do this inside XP?
