Hi
In my good old days, I had an xp1800 on ECS K7S5A, running nice. Now, it simply refuses to boot up. not even a single beep. :(

Can someone pls help me out?

The fans on the cpu, case etc runs, power/hdd led lights up ... but the motherboard simply refuses to post.

I have the following configuration:

XP1800+, running on ECS K7S5A mobo, in an Antec SX1040 case
DDR 512 MB Crucial RAM
Visiontek Geforce 3
IBM 60GB HD

It sounds to me like your board is fried. I've had a few boards over the years (including a K7S5A) do the same thing.

Reseat your RAM and all of your cards. I fixed a friends K7S5A recently by doing that. His system starting booting with a CMOS errors every few days or so then started the no POST thing like yours. Once I reseating everything, it's been solid for the past 2-3 months.
