ECS K7AMA Ram FSB at 100 MHz!

I have the mboard listed in the topic (I know it sucks, I didnt do my research), and 3dMark2001 SE says that my FSB is at 100 mhz. I set the jumpers on the mboard for the FSB to be 133 mhz and if I short the other 2 jumpers the cpu changes from 1400 to 1050? so I am assuming I have the right jumper shorted. Is there a way to make the DDR Ram go to 133 mhz FSB? This is killing my memory scores and its making my games run slowly. Help would be great. Thanks.

Well the ALi chipset on this board isn't the fastest thing in the universe, but the board in itself is quite OK.

3DMark 2001 is just guessing the bus speeds, so does Sandra. They're both guessing very wrong, especially on Athlon boards. For K7S5A 66 MHz are reported although it's most definitely not running that speed.

To make sure you're actually running 133 MHz bus, have a look at the CPU core clock. This is the only clock that can be measured not guessed, and with the CPU at 1400 it should be right - 1050 is what you get when running 10.5x100 instead of the 10.5x133 you're supposed to.

By the way, you can't make the RAM "run 133 MHz FSB". The Front Side Bus is the CPU-to-chipset interface (the Back Side Bus being the CPU's L2 cache interface). The RAM has its own interface, and its own interface clock, so your sentence doesn't technically make sense. Don't use acronyms if you don't know what they mean please.
