ECS K75SA Optimizing Problem

Hey all,
System Specs
ECS K7S5A Motherboard
AMD Athlon 1200 (100MHz)
2x Crucial 256 MB DDR PC2100 CL2.5 (512MB)
Maxtor UDMA100 40Gig (IDE Primary Master)
IBM UDMA 100 40Gig (IDE Primary Slave)
Yamaha 16x10x40 CDRW (IDE Secondary Master)
Pioneer 16x DVD (IDE Secondary Slave)
LeadTek GeForce2 Pro 64MB (AGP)
Turtle Beach Santa Cruz (PCI-3)
Intel 10/100 PCI NIC (PCI-5)
Enermax 430 Watt PSU

I installed Win2k Pro (fresh). Disabled onboard Lan & Sound. I've flashed to the latest 814 with LAN Bios. Ram running at Ultra and 3 and 6. Everything runs great but when I change the bios to 100/133 for the FSB and the RAM Speed and I exit and save BIOS the system goes dead. It sounds like it is rebooting but it just keeps trying to read the CD-Rom Drive, nothing comes up on the screen. I have to then reset the jumpers to get the system to boot again. I don't know whats causing this. Please help.

Thanks

Revert the RAM timing settings to Autodetect or slowest possible before setting the RAM speed to 133.

Then, why the heck do you disable the (lower latency and zero PCI bandwidth using) onboard LAN only to plug a PCI LAN in?

Finally, there's a new BIOS at www.ecs.com.tw that has "timings adjusted for compatibility and stability". Maybe you try that too.

regards, Peter
