I'll try to keep it short:

-Purchased LCDTV from eCost.
-Price seemed almost too good to be true (yes, i know, don't say it).
-TV showed up backordered on my invoice, but said in stock at every previous stage. Bait & switch. Big handling fee snuck in on backend too.
-Called ECost. Received ship date.
-Ship date came and went. No ship.
-Did more research, seen some suggestions they play games to generate mailing lists (i have received constant spam since order) and with shipping dates, but **some eventually received the deep discounted product**. Some, however, had their orders canceled suddenly after weeks of waiting eCost out.
-2nd ship date is next week. I'm skeptical.
-Found an alternate TV, but price is $300 more.
-I'm getting impatient for a resolution. Don't need TV, just want. Don't need annoyance of this either.

Just looking for experienced feedback. Thanks.
 
I know alot of people complain about them, but Ive oreder from them a few times and had no problems.
 
i've gotten flash from them before, rebates always came through.

claiming 'free shipping' and then tacking a handling fee on is annoying, but they don't always do that.
 
Yeah, but their resellerratings negative feedback seemed to all be from people getting rebates. Since I wasn't dealing with that, I thought I'd give them a shot.

Didnt expect this.

Was just looking for more responses since there were so few outside of rebates.
 
I ordered some Onkyo speakers from them for an unbelievable price with no shipping charge and they came in a timely fashion with no issues.
 
I pre-ordered Halo 2 from them for like $30 around 6 months before it came out. I guess somewhere along the line they cancelled the order because it was on hold for so long. When I saw the status online I called them up. They honored the price I was quoted and shipped it. Kind of a hassle but still got the product.

But I don't think I would order from them again unless it's a super great deal.
 
two orders from eCost, one was indefinitely back ordered...other came quick.

Prices were bottom line lowest.
