ECCp Possible Virus Alert

"Backdoor.EggHead" Trojan horse, discovered Feb. 11 2002 was in "cygwin1.dll", a file that was in one of my ECCp project file downloads. This is just a heads up as I am not 100% sure the virus was delivered in the file itself or if it became infected through other means. Here's a link for info on it:

Oh, my bad. I accidently left that in your system after I closed up Sub7 🙂

It seems that I get viri from everywhere. They come out of the woodwork!

This may or may not be a problem. Certain versions of the file "cygwin1.dll" are scanning positive as a trojan with Symantec's latest virus update on WinNT/2k/XP systems. I had it deemed a trojan, however none of the accessory files from the profile existed, so it may be a false positive.

If you are concerned, you can download the latest version of "cygwin1.dll" (1.3.9 which does not scan positive) at http://cygwin.com/.
