I have a strange problem with the faster clients from statsaholic. I have let the client run for 2 days on 2 pc's and have yet to do one DP


they are crunching with the old client now so that i can get some DP's, but do any of you all have an idea as to what the problem could be?

oh yeah, and one that client that refuses to stay running. Just kills itself :\

The chance of finding a DP is very random. A few ppl have had their clients go for long periods of not finding anything.
You may want to try deleting the plist and eccinfo files. This will cause the client to recalculate it's start position.

If you are running a pentium pro optimized client on a pentium 1, K6, or cyrix cpu. The client had been known to fail. I now have a pentium 1 optimized client available.

I also had the faster client crash on a pentium 1 laptop as well. (it produced some kind of dump file). I'll try the pentium 1 optimized version.

Are the screensavers optimized as well? I really need an ECCp screensaver that is a blank screen, (or a duplexing screen saver like the Dnet one).

i have p2 233 c 466 and a c2 600

the first thing virus told me seems to be working now. Will keep you all posted
