alright guys i'd have another machine spitting out dp but i have a little problem, described here

to summarize, how do i boot without a graphics card/keyboard/mouse
 
Audiophan, what you want to do is dependent on whether or not your motherboard's BIOS allows it. Most motherboards do not allow you to boot without a video card and keyboard. You will have to check to see if your BIOS allows some sort of console re-direct.
