ECC memory... MSI NEO2 support?

Would anyone know if MSI NEO2 platinum Nforce3 Ultra supports ECC memory?
I have been looking in the manual but I do not see ecc support anywhere.

No it does not.

Remember with A64 the motheboard doesn't necessarily determine what kind of memory is used because of the on-die memory controller. THe Opterons and the FX-51 and 53 are the only chips that support this on AMDs line and they are all socket 940.

I am sure your correct, just had a chance to buy brand new extreme corsair ecc registered unbuffered 3-3-3-8 1gig 160$. Not going to do that besides it may even effect gaming if it were to work, just a great price hard to pass up!

All Athlon-64 processors support ECC memory. For socket-754 and -939, you need "unbuffered" DIMMs, while Opterons use "Registered".

You still need to check whether your mainboard and its BIOS actually implement ECC RAM support. (Socket-940 boards always do.)

Decided not to make the purchase. Was just a great price hard to pass up at 160$ a gig. Thanks for the help!
