ECC Memory help!!

I would like to know the quickest way to test RDRAM for ECC capability. Does anyone have any suggestions other than pulling off the heatspreader. I have a feeling the RDRAM I just ordered may not be the RDRAM I thought I was buying. The dealer was extremely circumspect in detailing whether or not the part number matched and I have feeling maybe they just put some false labels on it. In anycase is there software or a fast way to do it? Thanks.

Sisoft will tell you if it is ECC or not!

Also, in your BIOS, you have the option of setting ECC on or off! Try it on, and see if you boot, and if your BIOS screen tells you xxxMB of ECC RAM!
