I want to upgrade to the 45nm intel chip, seems like the hip thing to do.

I was interested in trying out ECC memory since I will be switching from AMD. Would anyone here confirm motherboards that support ECC memory and if you like it?

I was thinking about an ASUS board or DFIbut I they are not verbose about whether the board will support it or not, although in the X38 spec says they should.

I can't decide if it is worth it to go to X38 for the ECC, I really like a stable system. If I were to go P35, has anyone check out that new 140 dollar DFI board (T2RS i think), there is really limited information on the net about it.

thanks in advance,
Pete

I'm with you, but wasn't sure if you were aware that Mac Pro's make use of this (and are very good machines that do run windows)

Just curious, why the interest in ECC RAM?
