ECC and Non-ECC mixed?

Ok... I'm having some brain fade... I forget.. Can you run ECC and non-ECC memory together in the same system? Assuming of course that ECC is disabled in BIOS.. Will it work, or will you end up with weird memory errors and such?

Thanks,
Radius

It is not recommended to mix ECC and Non-ECC.
Even if you can disable ECC in BIOS.
ECC memory is built differently than Non-ECC.
You will have some funky effect if you mix them up.

I think it has similar effects to mixing FPN and EDO Simms.....it will work but it will run slow and can cause lockups.
