Ebay ?

Hey i know most of you use ebay, so you should prolly be able to help me with this. If I want to get a sellers account or whatever, do I have to give them any more info than my address and credit card and stuff ? I have i guess a buyers account but I need to sell something, and i thought it said i need a checking account in order to sell, but like with paypal, i will not give that info out.
Also, if i sold something for lets say, $400, how much would I need to give ebay of that 400 ? TIA

If you item sold for more than $25, please follow the next steps:

1. Take 5.25% of the first $25 of your final sale price.
2. Take the additional amount from $25.01 to $1,000, and calculate 2.75% out of that amount.

There's also an initial listing fee and other various fees.

whoa thanks for the info, ok so thats no too bad, now i just need to find out if it is at all possible to get a sellers thing without my checking #s

ok i looked into it more and i see that there is this "id verify" thing, it looks like maybe i could do that, it costs $5 but i think you can get a sellers account by doing that, anyone know if i am right ?

You don't have to do that.

All you need to do is enter your correct Debit/CC information. It should validate, and then you're set.

If you opened your bid at 9.99, the insertion fee would cost $0.30.

If your reserve was 400$, you would pay a 2$ reserve auction price fee.

If your item then sold for 400$, you would pay:

$1.31(5.25% of $25)+10.31(2.75% of $375)=

$13.92.

hmmm I entered my cc and it still says i need to validate, there is a little section for create a sellers account and you have to enter cc# and checking account stuff. idk someone tell me if i should do that verify thing.
