ebay Look at the card, and read the seller's description, then tell me what's wrong there 😉 I almost feel sad for people who bid on stuff like that 🙁

I think what's wrong is that he's saying it has a lifetime warranty but he has an aftermarket heatsink on it.

The warranty is kind of a moot point anyway; I believe with PNY once they stop selling the card, the warranty is over. (and I have to wonder if they're still selling 4600s?)

lol, yet he still claims that it comes with a fantastic lifetime warranty! 😉 That's the reason I dont buy hardware from ebay, a lot of sellers misrepresent information, even if they don't know it. ebay's great for collectables, but im not so sure about hardware anymore, i'll stick to newegg and the anandtech forums 🙂

I guess the point he is selling that card is that it is still working.

Alot of people bother about the warranty issue later i guess,
or never if they don't encounter a problem with the card

I'll never forget seeing someone who took a pic of their 9800 pro on a SHAG CARPET, wow, i'll bet static shock doesn't exist there! 🙂

It seems like just about everyone on ebay does that with the cards they're selling.

I imagine with his rating that he isn't trying to cheat anyone. I bet that he really does beelive in the warrantee. I have to admit that keeping all the boxes, cd's, and even the receipt is pretty good.

He's even sold a $21k truck with positive feedback.

That's how I unloaded my FX5200 for $70 bucks, I included EVERYTHING. I only lost $15 dollars on that and I used the card for 4 months 🙂 Not a bad transaction if I do say so myself!

I just want to know why he's using the molex adapter on that cooler there... it plugs RIGHT INTO THE CARD???

It's an aftermarket heatsink, so possibly it draws more power than what a video card can provide. I think it's a better idea not to plug it into the video card anyways.

Actually the cards usually only have a 2 pin connection on them and the aftermarket heatsinks have a 3pin. You can splice them and you'll only lose the rpm monitor, which doesn't work through video cards anyway, but it's easier to just use the normal molex connector.
