I'm selling the program in my sig, and got an email from somebody in Holland...:
Hi sir,

I saw your product at Ebay and I have an question,
I live in Holland is it really not possible to sell it
to someone as me who lives in Holland?

Regards,

Karlok

He wants to bid, but I'm wondering whats the best/safest way for him to pay? Also, how would I ship it, with who, and what will it cost? Is it even worth the trouble?

Get a check or payment of anykind first and make sure you cash it and let him know he pays shipping. Ask him how or just Fedex.:)

How do we go about doing a wire transfer?

money order through registered mail would probably be fine.

ship USPS, everything else will cost a grand, and charge him up the ass in duty as well.

Don't you have to pay some kind of fee to ship something to another country?

How do we go about doing a wire transfer?

He'll do most of the work. You just have to give him your bank's info and account number.

DO NOT take a check from him, even if it's good, it could take up to 30 days to clear.

I would personally not do it. I know people who have been scammed by people like this and it's just not worth the headache.

Easiest way is to have him pay via bidpay.com, it's safe, quick, and you pay no fees.

Wire transfer is easy too, but you must be sure to charge extra because your bank will likely hit you with a wire transfer fee, it can be steep too, $15 for me.

Money orders should be only of the international type, paid in US dollars from a US bank location. Never accept checks that do not have a bank in the USA -- it will take forever to clear and you will most likely pay a fee to your bank too, then if it bounces, you pay more fees!

As for shipping, use USPS. It's hardly any trouble at all. You fill out one customs form that asks nothing more than the addreses and contents. Rates are on the website. What's so hard about that? Charge extra if you think time is money.

I would not sell to anybody outside of the U.S. Believe me, if he rips you off you will be out your money and no way to collect. JMHO.
