Is there an option to get email alerts (or something of the sort) whenever a certain item gets put up for auction?
 
My Ebay summary page, left column is Organize. In that is Saved Searches. Click on that and any saved searches, for items, sellers, etc., can be set to email you...just use the edit function in that item's listing in the Saved Searches window.
