I recently purchased an x box live starter kit used, but in the original box with all the accesories. Today I get the box and it has a headset and some instructions but doesnt have the module that hooks the headset to the controller. Ive emailed the guy and havent recieved a reply. I emailed him a couple times after i paid about shipping and he never responded, but the package came anyway. Am I out of luck? What would you do?
 
a used starter kit? the starter kit comes with a 1-year subscription card... it'd be pretty stupid to buy that.

That would be the best if he indeed did screw you. Make sure to contact him first. Most likely it was a mistake.
 
the reason i got the used is I got a 2 month free with halo 2 and for my bday i got a gift card for 1 year script from my gf. So i figured I only needed the headset portion anyway.

ah, as long as you knew what you were supposed to be getting... 😉 you should ahve just said "i bought a headset on ebay"
 
Thats good. The seller probably forgot to package the module and sent it out in the 2nd package. It sounds like the seller needs to work on his communication tho. He should have notified you about the slipup.
 
got a link to the auction? I'd contact paypal/ebay if it didn't say it was supposed to be missing since he hasn't responded to you.
