I'd tell them what it is. Reserve is a price you'd be willing to sell at, otherwise you'd have put the reserve higher.

If it's actually worth more than reserve someone will bid higher anyway

just tell them that it's a very fair price.

but if your not selling a ton of items, it's better to just not put a reserve. It keeps more bidders interested(thinking they might get a deal), plus, you can just cancel the auction a couple minutes early if things aren't going your way. I never pay more than .30cents(.55 with gallery), for any listing.
