I just put up an auction yesterday. I am selling 4 pc games together, and i made a mistake. One of the games is a C&C series, renegade, but i accidently put generals. Some nut already bid on it with 6 days left, what should i do? I dont have C&C generals, and i cant edit the description anymore.

YOu can add on to your description (the ebay page will say "Seller added the following information on so and so date:")

you can add to the description though, so do that. It would also be courteous to contact the bidder and explain the mistake.

edit: echo . . . echo . . .echo :)

I didn't say that you could edit it, I said you can add to it.

Dude, if you end it early the current bidder will win your auction. Just edit the damned thing so that you don't piss off a potential buyer and risk getting a negative feedback, and so you won't get stuck with paying ebay fees X 2.

on the bottom right on the auction page there is a link for managing your listing.
clicking it will bring up a new window where you can do whatever you want with your auction.

I think you might need to cancel all the bids on the auction and then end it early... if you end it early without cancelling the bids, the current high bidder will win.

CANCEL ALL THE BIDS

then you can edit

and don't worry, there's 6 days left, if he really wants it then he'll bid on it @ 30 sec left ;)

You know, you didn't have to go thru all that hassle.

If you bothered to read the posts given above, you would realize that all you had to do was ADD extra description.

You do know that you can ADD extra description/text regardless of whether or not someone already bid right?

Just let us know that you know what I am talking about. A simple yes or no will suffice.

Yes, i did add description, but it look like sh!t. And the bidder bid on it becuase it thought something else was in there, that wasnt, so kind of unfair. Cancel was the best route...
