Ebay/PS3 auction advice. How shall I go about doing this?

After my Xbox 360 ebay auction debacle, I'm trying to avoid craptastic bidders as much as possible. These are requirements that I'm thinking about settings for the systems I have/getting:

-USPS Money order only
-Payment within 4 business days
-Reserve (with my reserve amount shown in the auction)
-If less than 10 feedback, no bid (any ideas as to how to enforce this, during sniping in particular?)

Any others ideas would be greatly appreciated. I want these auctions to go as smooth as possible. Thanks in advance!

The only way to enforce the less than 10 feedback rule would be to manually cancel the bids yourself. That will be a PITA during the last minute though.

You also can disallow bidders from overseas or only from selected countries.

Yes, that's the only reason I purchased them. Why do I deserve bad bidders? Because I'm taking advantage of something that has a limited supply and a huge demand? Please, take your self righteousness elsewhere.

what happened? somebody wanted to ship my roommates to nigeria (he hasn't done it yet).

I reported them to ebay, they were banned, I got all of my money back from ebay (the auction fees, I never even acknowledged the "buyer), then I had to relist the bastard again.

Uh I sold my PS2 recently for funds towards a Wii. When I setup the auction there was an option to limit it to bidders with no less than a certain number of positive feedbacks.

Very valid point, it's something to consider. The only thing I don't like is perhaps selling myself short. Perhaps someone is willing to pay more than I'm asking? I also wanted to avoid Paypal though this may be the right way to go.

Very nice! Any idea where exactly the option is? This option wasn't available when I sold the 360 for sure.

scalping should be illegal, if it's not. buying consoles on launchday for the express purpose to resell and cheat two people at once (one out of their money, one who wants it to play out of a console at retail price) should be considered under anti-scalping laws

oh, and ps: i don't even want a ps3.

If it makes you feel any better I just got a Wii too. I'm not putting a gun to bidders heads, they can choose to bid or they can move along. What's the difference if I sell a PS3 now or wait 3 months? Nothing! The bidding may be higher this time around but besides that it's the exact same thing.

people want the actually play the PS3 instead of watching ppl hoard and resell

i got a xbox 360 premium at launch last year and i took it home to play and enjoy all throughout thanksgiving with friends

there are over 30,000 of these things on ebay now...

most of the auctions are ending around $1500 now..probably get lower as the day goes by...

most of the auctions are being won by bidders with less than 5 feedback...
