Ebay Problem

Hey i have a question. Im selling my cellphone over ebay because i hate the service (virgin mobile). Now the auction is over and the highest bidder has won the phone. Its been acouple days to many and i havent heard anything from the winner? What should i do? What would ebay do to the winner? Should i just give up on him and start another auction?

Thanks

Send him an email and give him a deadline date. If he hasn't arranged payment by then, then file a non-bidders report and resubmit.

PS - Was the bidding fast and furious at the end or did he bid days ago and win because no one out bid him? If it was the latter or if he was using a bidding service, he may not have logged in since he won.

You first try and contact the winner. If that fails, then contact Ebay informing them of the non-paying bidder's ID.

send him an invoice. that is an option you have from the auction. that bascially sends him an email reminding him to pay. If you hear nothing, you want to do this:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/tp/unpaid-item-process.html

That is the unpaid item process as it says. That way you will get the ebay fees back. Then just hit relist in my ebay and it will relist. If you had other bidders you also have the option of giving a second chance offer to the bidder directly under the winner. This gives that bidder chance to get the item for the highest amount that person bid. This is dependant on whether or not you accept that amount. Good luck.

This is my 1st time selling something over ebay. However, i did directly email the person about 3 times and there ignoring me. I doubt i will hear anything from them about this product. Should i leave them negative feedback and just move on? Will ebay contact the buyer and add something to there account?

Login to MyEbay and "Report an Unpaid Item Dispute".

"eBay will send an Unpaid Item reminder to your buyer, encouraging them to complete the transaction. If the buyer still does not pay, you can use this form to file for a Final Value Fee credit."

Don't just move on, becuase Ebay thinks you sold it so you will gat an invoice from them for the selling fees.

Plus you want to make sure that other Ebay users realize this person doesn't pay for his/her winning bids.
