eBay problem.. seller not responding..

I bought an item from this guy using Buy It Now. In payment option he clearly includes Money Order and this is the payment method I opted for. I sent him an email requesting payment address but he didn't respond.

Sent him another one and no response.

Given that he's a decent feedback, I went to his website, fetched his company's address and sent the payment there. I called them up and receptionists keeps asking me for sales rep's name. I told them it was an eBay auction, but they've no clue.

One b!tch at the non toll free number I had to make at my expense knew what I was talking about. She said the guy who handles eBay is busy. I asked if I can have him call me back. The b*tch yell at me that he's busy then throws me over to his voice mail.

I hung up, then called the 1-800 and left them a voice mail. They're not returning my call.

Should I wait until end of next week or product arrival whichever comes first, then leave a negative for failing to reply to emails/returning calls or should I immediately cancel my money order now?

Strangely enough, this guy already left me a positive before I even sent out my payment, but he's leaving exactly the same comments to everyone.

Any other suggestions appreciated.

Give him some time. I wouldn't neg if your product arrives in a reasonable amount of time but communication sucks, however. I hate talking & coddling people on transactions, particularly when the dollar amount is menial. Is it?

what info did you include with the money order?

did you put "ebay auction" or anything like that on the envelope?

He's definitely getting a negative one way or the other. The question is to call the auction abandoned as he failed to respond w/ in three busienss days and go ahead and cancel the money order then leave him a neg or wait a week hoping I'd get the item, then leave a neg..

It's a gamble...

FoBoT, I enclosed a copy of automated invoice I recieved from eBay, my shipping address along with the MO, but given how clueless the front desk clerk, I am anticipating a serious delay 🙁

Oofta. That's something I wouldn't have done. I would have waited until communicating with him before sending payment anywhere.

Good luck!

Think about it for a second. Why would a seller not want to talk to you other than an issue out of their hands. They will get charged by ebay for the sale regardless of whether you pay for it or not.

You can request the user information right from ebay. They will provide you with his home phone number.

all you need is his screen name and the item number you won.

Cancel the order, leave negative feedback.

What you've went through is so unprofessional it's revolting. I swear, ebay attracts the most inepet, profane, discourtious sales people on the planet.

You got your positive feedback, he's got nothing over you and the worst you have to go through is finding your product again. To say that you went out of your way in this transaction is an understatement. Take this as a lesson for next time; DON'T send any form of payment until they acknowledge and confirm all prices in the auction.

Finally, I got a hold of them. I got passed around to a few people before they finally got a guy with a clue about it, even he was a dumbass. I told him the MO was picked up by the postal service on Tuesday, then he asks me "[/b]when did you ship the checK".

They claim to be having problems with their server, but that explains nothing about not returning phone calls nor does it explain why one of their receptionist is a b!tch.

After almost 40minutes of time wasted on the phone(this is like the fifth time I've called. twice, got clueless idiots, once, got a rude b!tch, got voicemail and left it, then finally got a hold of this guy.

When you're a corporation with multiple clerks dealing with individual customers, there's no excuse for not returning calls and not responding to emails at the same time.

He will get a neg as soon as I get the item.
