eBay paypal problem

I purchased a coat on eBay which the guy demanded immediate payment. The deal seemed borderline legit, meaning the price wasn't too good to be true but it wasn't outrageously expensive. I figured if I pay via paypal with my credit card so that if worst comes to worse I'd call my bank and file a dispute. Well a week passes and I didn't receive my good. I sent an email to the guy and got "I've been busy with finals all week." I filed a dispute with Paypal today. After doing more research on this guy I found out he was selling four jackets like the one he sold me for a lower price. I felt something was fishy so I immediately filed a claim with Paypal.

My question is to those who had any experience with a fraudulent seller. Any hope getting my money back?

uh... a week? you're being impatient, and he replied to your email.
and you BID on the item (or you felt that it was a fair price for BIN), and you have buyers remorse because someone else got it for less?

your claim will get shot down for sure, you need at least 30 days after auction ending before the claim proceeds.

if he still has funds in his account, there maybe hope, but if he's cleaned it out, bye bye.

I forgot to mention, he has 3 feedback. He uses two different names. Perhaps it does sound like buyers remorse.

EDIT: He replied once and never again. After repeated emails.

i don't even go through paypal anymore. go through your credit card directly.
