If I wanted to sell something on ebay and end up with exactly $100 after fees, how much would it have to sell for BEFORE fees?
Postage will be paid for by the buyer, so we can ignore that.
Listing fee - I guess let's say it'll be a fixed buy now. Though if it were an auction we could save a bit.
Final value fee, paypal fee.
And, we'll ignore the fact that you need to set aside a certain amount to cover chargebacks, idiots, paypal tricks, and so on. And we'll also ignore for now that certain states require sales tax, and that we will need to deal with income taxes at the end of the year for that ebay income.
