Ebay needs this feature...

It won't happen- that would inhibit their growth. There's talk of it once eBay traffic levels off, ostensibly years from now.

That's a great idea. It's definitely in their best interest to essentially prevent new people from joining.

Maybe you ought to stop selling "crap." 😉

Here is what I want.....

The ability to block international bidders from bidding on my items. I say in the terms of my auctions that I do not ship internationally, but these losers don't bother to read.

I have recommended this to them repeatedly, but they won't implement it. Everytime an international bidder bids on my auction, I am out $5 in listing fees....Plus I have to risk getting a negative for not selling to these losers...

You can refuse to sell to them.

But you still lose out on listing fees. Ebay should allow people to run their auctions how they wish.....

It's not an issue of refusing to sell to them. It's an issue of 60% of the items I'm selling get bid on by bidders with 0 feedbacks and they are all nonpaying

They need a feature where you can block bidders from certain countries. That way if you only want to ship to the US, you can block all other countries and not get the occassional Canadian.

I am not registered with ebay yet. So you think just because I would be new i would screw you over, and or my money would not be good enough for you?

They need a feature to hide any power sellers and featured item so I don't have to look at people use ebay like a store. Also shipping cost should be included in the price returned by a search.

Actually I have good experiences with some 0 feedback bidders. However, if I think that I spend 2 hours a week dealing with nonpaying bidders and 90% have 0 feedback. THat means at the rate I pay myself 100.00 an hour I spend 200.00 a week...180.00 a week dealing w/ 0 feedback bidders. At this rate I'd rather lose out on those customers as the few that do pay aren't worth dealing with the ones who don't.

Why?

If you list an item that is valued at $500 and someone bids on it but does not pay, you get the final value fee, not your listing fees (which are around $5)

Word

I'll tell you what eBay needs... a godd*mned ability to sort feedback by positive / neutral / negative, so that I can look at someone's negatives without having to search through multiple pages of positives to find them! How hard would it be?!?!

Not that I'm bitter... :|

right on the money...

I can't believe this sh1t...another item sold to a bidder with 0 feedbacks...

It doesn't matter what brand of this item I sell for some reason 0 feedback bidders always bid on them...and this guy that just bought it isn't going to pay I know it.

Every single person on ebay started off at 0. Seems to me it's a minority causing any problems. What is it that you're selling that seems to be attracting all the npb's?

Cell phones...all different brands, nokia, sanyo, motorola, nec

Out of 30 items won with buy it nows 20 have been with 0 feedbacks, and only about 5 have payments. I sell a whole bunch of other stuff too but only on friggin cell phones do 0 feedback bidders keep bidding and not paying. The last excuse from earlier today was "I left my computer on and my 2 year old clicked the buy button"

What the hell are the chances of that????

heh, maybe some ppl off ATOT are fscking /w you since you made this thread.

But seriously, after reading through this thread, these are the changes they NEED to implement:

1) Sort Feedback by Positive/Negative/Neutral

2) If you sell an item, and have selected "will ship to US only", then any bidder who has a non-US country listed in their profile/address/user info (or whatever) will NOT be able to bid.

3) If you sell an item, you should be able to specify something like, "only allow bidders w/ X amount of positives to bid" or "only allow bidders w/ 0 negative feedback" etc, etc. etc.

4) any others?

I wish you could block the listing of people who bid mass crap, I search for something for my car, I get like 10 pages of fog lights and plastic intakes... annoying as hell! :|
