Ebay Laptops

So I'm looking to buy a laptop, and I was checking out ebay the other day to see what they have. Well, I found what seemed to be incredible deals for hundreds less than retail price. This particular IBM I was looking at seemed great, and when I ran the specs on IBM's website I found out that its being sold for rouggly 1000 less; then I got to the bottom and read that they were remanufactured laptops, so they might have been a used/returned laptop, a canceled order, or an over stock.

It noted that IBM had certified the laptop, and it comes with a 3 year warranty. If anything does happen to it, the warranty has it covered. If it was a 90 day warranty or somethin I wouldn't bother, but 3 years is a long time.

What do you guys think, scam or deal? Here is the link.
