Ebay item never arrived

Hey -- what do you do in this case? Tracking said it was delivered Monday but I have nothing. Item was only 13 bucks so I don't really care too much. I contacted the seller, awaiting his reply -- but even then its not like I want to steal 13 bucks back from no fault of them.

If USPS says it was delivered I assume its not some scam. Who does the burden fall on? Him to get it to me or me to pick it up successfully?

I've had USPS marked as delivered and I don't receive it for another day or two. Sometimes they just scan it as delivered to show as on-time.

If it's been 2-3 days already, then you're probably SOL, and for $13 there's probably no insurance or it's not worth it to chase after.

If it's USPS priority, it automatically comes with insurance - but that's only if it's damaged or gets lost. As far as they are concerned, they will say it was delivered based on the tracking.

Yeah, you're probably SOL. If it's an established seller he might send you another as a goodwill gesture.

Our postal service is incompetent. Not a surprise. HOWEVER, I will say that I've had it where it says delivered and then it arrives a day or two later in actuality.... or a neighbor delivers it to me since it went to the wrong address. You never know.

Did you check your mailbox? Maybe it was delivered to a similar address...like ### place instead of ## street/ave.
