ah. was it insured?

If yes then ask her if the package was tampered with
If no then just buy her another dvd or pay her off

I think ill just pay her off through ebay or paypal somehow. If I buy a dvd and have it sent she could possibly say I never sent it.

Ask her what she feels is adequate compensation for not recieving the dvd. It was a used dvd and so is not worth retail value. OR Tell her to bid on that dvd that is posted on ebay and that you will compensate her for what it costs her to get it.

As I said before, I've already checked for this. The point of saying that I made the mistake before was to show that I made sure I included everything this time.

From her first mail I knew there was no way this was going to end well. I didn't want friendliness to indicate that I would bend over for her, my intent was to be firm not snide.

this reflects in your feedback.

Sounds eerily similar to a situation I had with a guy who had 7000 feedback rating, even though he had a few negs. I shipped him a brand new Transformers HD, sealed and unopened which I bought at Circuit City. He received it and he said that it didn't work. Since keeping the firmware updated is important and can cause HD dvds not to play, I recommended that he do an update. He got back to me and said that he shouldn't have to do that kind of stuff and it was "over his head". I simply told him to return the dvd and I would refund his money. A couple of days later he sent me an email telling me that he talked to his friend at CC who said this HD dvd was "recalled" and that I shouldn't have sold it. He accused me of fraud.

To make a long story short, I just got tired of this guy's obvious BS and refunded his money, even before I received the HD dvd back. Of course, I never received the dvd back and when I emailed the guy, he told me that he had shipped it out. I never got it......

Moral of the story: EBay has many idiots, even idiots with high feedback.....
