Lead him on... Have fun. He's swimming with the hook set in his mouth; the least you can do is pull back, set the hook, and watch him run with it for a while. If nothing else, you would be wasting his time, which would be used to scam other honest (but stupid) people.
 
this is a prime example of why selling high-priced items on eBay is risky.

i only sell sports cards, and i only deal by PayPal. that way, if someone does rip me off, it's just for a sports card... not a freaking PSP which by the way I would love to have. 😛
