eBay feedback

I was looking at buying a Linksys BEFW11S4 V.2 Etherfast Wireless AP + Cable / DSL Router on eBay from hoochiec.

I read their feedback which made me laugh, read the feedback left by avengr99@aol.com.

We all know there are a bunch of goofs on ebay.

I've seen people give negative feedback 'cause they didn't like the movie they bought from someone.

The concept is messed up.

IMHO, feedback should be determined on the satisfaction and the total monetary value of completed transactions.

IE: 270 positives on $140,000 sold. 3 Negatives on $200 sold.

I don't know what to make of some people. Last 2 auctions didn't go so great. The sellers barely got a positive rating from me. Dealing with some of these sellers gives me a real headache.

Rossman: I got the 11S4 Saturday. Nice router but getting identd to work on it is a real pain.

if the wireless version is anything like my Linksys BEFSR41 4-port router, make sure to disable SPI, since it disables port forwarding thus not being about get identd (port 113) to work.

I already took care of that. If someone fails to pay me or comply with auction terms, I get to sue them.

Suddenly the level of winning bidder stupidity dropped.
