So I want to buy some new shades and the prices on ebay are a lot lower but I'm weary about the sunglasses being counterfeit.

Will it be safe if I bought it off of a seller with a high seller's rating?

Two thoughts: Does anyone really buy sunglasses on ebay expecting to get the real McCoy? Does it really matter if they're fakes?

Yes it does, often the fakes do not block UVA and UVB radiation. Because of the darkness of the glasses your pupils dilate letting in more harmful radiation.

Another thought: Don't skimp on eye-glasses/shades, mattresses or brandy.

Don't waste your money on fake ones, they are not even close to the real ones.

I've bought a pair of revo's off ebay. They were genuine and at a great price.

Yeah, but $10-20 shades can still provide adequate protection, look good, and be comfortable. Buying namebrand sun glasses is often wasteful considering they get broken or lost so easily. No need in being a brand-whore unless you're 16 and need to where whatever's popular to get noticed...trust me, no one will notice except you and the guy/girl who sold you the glasses.

Matresses & alcohol (I'm not big on brandy)....I couldn't agree more. You need to pay for quality and invest in brands that deliver.
