Perhaps we should do the nice thing, and warn all of those sellers?

Winchester, Yahoo might be able to do something with the 193.220.45.3 address(I'm not sure if he's using webmail, mail forwarding, or what), but I doubt they care, especially since it's likely a proxy address

Contact ebay immediately. It is a scam. If you ask ebay real nicely they will let you relist your item and won't charge you.

This is how the payment will be made a client of
mine is owing me some fund in $4000 will instruct him
to issue a check drawn on a united state bank in your
name and once the cashier's check clears in your
bank,You will deduct the cost of the ADVERT and any
tax incurred and my balance will be send back to my
shipper via western union money transfer for immediate
shipping arrangement.

If they can get a bank check, then they can wither wire you the funds (via Western Union) of do a wire transfer to your bank.

If they insist on a cashier check, you need to contact the issuing bank to ensure that it is vallid.

This smells like a scam, however, you can attempt to control it without any risk to yourself or reputation.

well, i am bored at work. i can warn those sellers. will it be against ebay policy to write to email those guys a link to this topic?

heh, i reached my daily limit on sending out warnings. i guess you can only send out 10 emails. if anyone else is bored like me, they can send warnings to the ones after the first 10.

You are very naive with that many feedback on ebay. Good thing you posted here, or else you wouldve been out 4Gs.

I am not naive at all. I knew it was a scam to start with. I just posted to see how and what you guys thought about the situation. There was no way in hell that I was going to go through with their requests.

well you're naive in the fact that you don't even know you don't have to have people's emails on ebay to be able to contact them.

I don't think you knew it was a scam. If you did you wouldn't have written that email reply to the guy. You're just trying not to look dumb now. If I may be so bold, you are too late 😉
