eBay Bidding Program?

Anyone know of a good program for eBay that lets you bid on an item, and will autobid if you get out bid? Whats a good one? Thanks!
 
I got outbid on an auction last night, and I noticed the person had 3 bid's in 1 second, Was trying to find out what program that is =) I can find some, but just not sure which ones are the best

I see. I've found that I win more auctions by waiting until the last 10-15 seconds to commit my bid.

What you describe above seems inefficient; the program was obviously automated, so the user must've set some maximum bid value, but they program automatically incremented the bid until it won over yours. Given the nature of proxy bidding, why didn't it just snipe with the given max bid?

People seem to assign mental values to auctions often influenced by how high the current bid is. Ideally, they'd look at the auction, and regardless of the current bid price evaluate how much they'd be willing to pay for it, and enter that as their maximum bid. Unfortunately, in many cases being outbid forces them to re-evaluate how much they're willing to pay, and raise the ante.
 
Call me silly, but I just figure out how much I'm willing to pay for an item with shipping, then I bid that amount. No auto-sniping programs needed, either I get it or somebody is willing to pay more. Doesn't matter if I bid that amount with 5 days left or 2 seconds left.

That's all well and good if you don't mind always paying exactly what you would pay for and never getting off with less than that. There's nothing wrong with paying less than what you'd be willing to pay .. it's getting a deal. Sorta the point in an auction.

True, but somtimes sniping is needed.

Ive never EVER won an auction on ebay.... NEVER... ive got 53 feedback, been using it for 2+ years now and everytime i bid on somthing some sniper always nicks it at the last minute. Theyve stolen like 3 $30 1.4 tualatins off of me, which are worth about $140+ to some people. Totally not fair 🙁

The "sniper" was willing to pay more than you were willing. Simple fact.

 
EBay bidding is not always on the level. Some sellers are pros, and they use shills. If I want something on EBay I "But It Now." Otherwise - ???

Anyway, EBay has an option that was stated above where you can set a maximum and it will autobid you up to that point as needed. I always LMAO when I see people bidding at a price greater than a new item would cost on NewEgg or ZZZ. 🙂
